Hello Everybody !

Hello Everybody,

My name is Avi, an Israeli collector for 25 years. While browsing on the www I found this site, and much to my surprise and happiness I see that many of the former members of the late (?) stampoffers chat room are active here.
So first and foremost a big HELLO to you stampoffers guys (my user-name out there was "Avialbums"), and a big HELLO to everybody else.

It's nice to see so many open discussions which shed a new light on subjects I knew very little of (if any) and also on subjects I am more familiar with.

My collecting interest is British Commonwealth, but lately (as many of you are probably experiencing) postal history is something I find very appealing.

Over the last 5 years I had also published few pre-printed stamp albums which are offered commercially to collectors.

So that's it more or less.... I hope to be a wlcomed member of this community and to contribute as much as I can to the discussions here.

Hi Avi...some of us oldtimers on Stampoffers/Wensy wondered where you went to...this is a good place to give and receive knowledge on stamps and covers !!

Welcome aboard "seahorse" What albums have you authored?

I started off 5 years ago publishing the King George VI album (in 4 volumes) and since than added to the list of publications the British Hong Kong album, Falkland Islands album and a series of British Commonwealth Omnibus issues album pages (to 1973).

currently I am working on British Empire album pages (Each territory to its independence). 12 of these are already published and more to come soon.

If this may be of interest to others here I can try and open a thread discussing some insights I have to album making.

Avi, I was having e mail problems ..but I guess now its the 50 post rule...if I can help you any questions here on the board let me know..i remember when you were creating and promoting the George 6 albums !
