Hello, I have a 3 cent Jubilee imperf which looks ok, I just cant find any info on it. Does anyone know if they produced such a stamp? Oh and if you do would you know a value for one hinged, unused and it has no glue...did it come that way? Thank you

This is when I wish I had a Unitrade...I always mean to pick one up. SG doesn't mention an imperf. It says it should be perf 12. |

Show us a scan issuarian. The Unitrade number is 53 for the regular perforated stamp. Plate proofs exist, which I assume are imperforate. |

I am sorry but I paid for this stamp and I am going to send it back, I am starting to get the feeling it is a simple copy. I looked at it next to a regular one and it was pale, the paper seems very thin. A regular old "put a stamp in the copier" is what it looks like. I doubt that is what a proof looks like? Anyway, I am sorry to have wasted you nice folks time... |

The original stamp was/is engraved, so a proof would be, too. If your copy was not printed from an engraved plate, that would be an immediate tipoff. If it was, then more i.d. work may be in order.
