Found this on a post card canceled in 1954. The straight edges on the left and right, along with the contiguous perforation down the middle suggest that the two stamps were part of a side-by-side coil. I've never seen that in a catalog or anywhere else, so thought I would ask here, what gives? Thanks!

These are the two middle stamps from a booklet pane of 6.

The previous post is correct. Would be fun if it was a double-coil.

When I got my first Facit Scandinavian catalogue, I was a bit surprised to find that Swedish stamp collectors really go for these paired booklet stamps. For any issue that comes from a stamp booklet (that's a huge amount of Swedish stamps), there's a listing for 3x3 sided pairs, or 2x2 sided pairs when they exist as corners of a booklet. To each their own, I guess - American specialized catalogues list pairs of coil stamps (Swedes don't care about those).
