I don't know under what category these should be posted, because I dont know if they are collectible by anyone or not.

I need to know if official/governmental paper/documents, receipts and telegraphs are collected if yes, what are these called "if they have a name"?

Thanks

Amr

There are people who collect telegraph-related items. Government documents are usually collectible when they relate to an important person or event (important to the collector, at least).

To the person collecting Egyptian Postal History,
these could be very valuable and highly desirable
so please retain and do not throw out.
Whether that will transform into major dollars
probably not.

They would be referred to as "Egyptian Post and Telegraph Ephemera"

with Rod.

I have just started collecting Belgium telegraph stamps and, while looking on DelCampe to see what I wanted, I noticed that they have a general heading of Stamps and then all kinds of sub-headings, one of which is Telegraph.

But then, I only found an actual telegramme when I searched for 'belg* tel*' using the wild card * character and the telegrammes were under Not stamps but something collectible.

So if you advertise these always include the name that a stamp collector would search for also (telegraph), otherwise they might miss it.
