I'm in the process of trying to get my collection organized and reduce the clutter.

In the process, I've come across ten USPS mint set folders w/outer envelopes (the stamps had been removed and reside in my album) and I'm wondering if there is a good reason to keep them.

The items are the:
  • 1975, 77, 78 and 79 Mint Sets
  • 1980, 81 and 82 Commmorative Mint Sets
  • 1980 Definitive Stamps and Stationary Mint Set
  • 1981 Definitive Mint Set, and
  • Fifty State Birds and Flowers Mint Set
Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.

I use my USPS folders to hold other stamps, extras, etc.

The items are the:

* 1775... Mint Sets

I'd definitely like that one if it's for sale!

I'll trade you my 375 B.C. Washington quarter for it!

Good catch KHJ.

1775 was a very special year for us Marines and more than eight years after retirement I still haven't been able to get it out of my mind.

If your still interested in trading that special quarter, I'll take you up on the offer (but not until I get my 50 posts in)!

p.s., This post probably shouldn't count because I screwed it up.

It's actually an error quarter. Somebody used a Sharpie to write in the correct date of 375 BC.

The mint workers, so innovative!
