Both look like #26 to me. Top stamp appears mint (except Washington seems to have a pimple on his nose), while the bottom stamps appears to have a nice clean cancel. I would suggest providing a pic of the entire bottom stamp, in case the cancel has a good premium associated with it.

US classics are not my forte, so I will leave it to others to confirm or point out my errors.

An online resource that you may want to consult is the National Postal Museum's Arago site.

It looks like it would be useful in supplementing the Scott catalog descriptions with stamp images from the museum's collection.

The site also allows you to create a digital collection and email images.

it could also be a 26a if it is a type IV, either way they bear closer inspection..
