Thanks for the kind offer, Harry! But I'm trying to whittle down my US to make more room for WW.
But with all these US stamps being posted on SCF recently, I fear I may catch the bug again...
Guess I'll have to start kicking out some family members to make more room. Should I do it by alphabetical order, or by drawing lots? |

Don't suppose you could post a pic of the closed C for everybody to admire? At your convenience, of course! k |

I don't know so . . . Is the broken hat on the guy in the canter of the stamp? |

The broken hat plate flaw is the divot in his hat. In the pic below, I've drawn a blue line pointing to the break in the hat. |

Very Interesting varieties, the broken hat and closed C. Are these constant, in other words, do they appear on the same stamp location of each sheet? |

Quote: hmmm, I still don't see it... is my leg getting pulled? OK, here's a close-up. Where the blue line points to, do you see the break in the front of the hat? BeeSee, yes. Broken hat and C plate flaws are on different stamps, but same positions on each pane. There are actually progressions for each, as the plate flaw became worse and worse. |
