Mary of Teck, (May) wife of King George 5

The King's Collection.

—The Queen, while visiting an exhibition, was shown a room furnished with antiques.
Her guide, finding an album of postage stamps in the room, drew her attention to them.
"I expect these will interest your Majesty!" he said.
The Queen looked at them a little grimly, then she smiled and said,
"No thank you, I get too much of them at home!"

-St. John Ervine in "Time and Tide," 20/9/30.
