Ripon is a lovely town, they would NEVER use a marker there !
As you can see, a nice central cancel and a knowledgable Yorkshire postman is all it takes !

Nice one.

Londonbus1...a right monkey !

I heard they were putting these out (probably on this forum). I like it. It beats our labels here in the USA.

Its a label, it has replaced the boring old white labels. I quite like it.

By the way that's not a very nice central cancel, that's someone put the label into the machine squint - it should print parallel to the edges if its inserted straight!

It's the very scarce "tilting to the right" issue

Agreed, it's a bit angled, but compared to some others I have seen, pretty clear.

It's just so enormous !

I thought I'd better edit that post....

Anyway, while we're on the subject, Londonbus I'm posting your stamps tomorrow. I assume you want nice stamps on the cover, but if you'd rather one of these, let me know...

Nice stamps would be preferable.
Your stamps will go on Sunday as it is New Year Holiday here.

Thanks

It's 1000% better than the typical American 'obliterated beyond recognition' option available in the US.

As a direct comparison,
the label on the other book Stampgal sourced for me
came from Exmouth (down my way near Devon)
and it is the Avery white label with 4 security knife roulettes.

(makes the Machinosaurus look great in comparison)

The Book (rates as a two pepper)
