Hi

I live in Melbourne, Australia. My real name is Peter Smith but peterethio is fine. I'm a school teacher currently doing relief teaching.

I collect stamps in a variety of areas. I originally started collecting mainly German stamps as a child; my mum was born there so we got some nice German stamps. As an adult I've continued with Germany (East, West, Reich, States, Colonies, Occupations, etc). I've also included Africa (yes, even Equatorial Guinea), British Omnibus, Omnibus type Europa, and overprints where the value, purpose or country name on the stamp has changed. Recently I've added airmail labels and humorous cancellations.

I've been looking at this forum for a while and have been really enjoying the posts and information. I take my hat off to all of you who keep this going. It is fantastic!
