just curious what you all think of this purchase. I'm new to mounts these are all black backing

Note: I should have stated they were in a bulk pack from an estate sale

What should I have paid?

that being said, I like the local store and the local owner thus thae ability to purchase local and not order unseen over the internet is a huge bonus...

It is hard to say exactly how many mounts are in each package. If they are the standard showguard amounts per package and same quality, I would say over $300.

the packs see to have 25-26 per pack, the Hawid seem to have 70 per pack.

ruff estimate 3,628 mounts of assorted sizes shown

I paid $65.00 pretty sure I got a good deal, just hurt the toy budget...

Gosh Stamp Supplies are expensive.

I'm a big fan of buy the book before the stamp and also "make sure there's only one rooster in the henhouse before you start adding stamps".

You did good Edwin, there are wonderful deals..people lose interest, or go out of business..then you have to make a choice or feel like kicking yourself afterwards !!
