Guatemala O9 Officials Postmark Collection

Here is someone's collection of Guatemala O9 triangles, an official stamp issued in 1929. The stamps, collected on pieces showing postmarks were used during March and April 1949.

Modern_Who, Yes I am interested..looks like decent back of book material...as I have often mentioned..Guatemala post offices used "whatever it takes" for postage...officials were fair game if they ran out of postage and I am sure some of the smaller post offices did quite often....when I joinned the Guatemala society one of the first magazines I received showed pictures of the Guatemala city post office...letters stacked everywhere..it could take weeks or months for a letter to be delivered..i guess we can not complain about the USPS..my bills always arrive...what are your interests for trade..if its not in my collecting realm I am ready to work out a trade...phil

Phil, my collection is worldwide to about 1973 and I especially like British Colonials and Western Europe. I prefer mint over used, but collect both, and since I have quite a bit of material, the more common stuff is not likely to useful.

Most of my better British commonwealth is either post 1973 or used...i will have to do a search...
