Unfortunately, this is a damaged perfin, nevertheless, I found it among my "seconds" and I think it will document the "dot in period" variety for the 5 cent denomination (R232):



(Actually, when scanned in higher res. it looks like the "dot in period" on this example is only on the right side.)



As it stands now, I have the "dot in period" variety for the 1, 2, 4, 5, 50 and 80 cent varieties along with companion stamps of the same denomination without the dot.
