Do SCF members actively collect stamp-themed souvenir cards? I have a number that were issued by the USPS in the 1970s or 1980s but I don't think they do it anymore, leaving those type of cards to the BOEP to issue.

In addition, there are a number of private organizations and/or stamp clubs that periodically issue their own. Here's one from CINPEX'76 that someone may find interesting:

Although they may have waned in popularity lately, I still find them interesting.

I have a few of those type of cards, but I do not collect them actively. I am not even sure what I have squirreled away.

Of course...Stamp collectors collect everything
(apart from used hinges)

The fabulous fellow that created the 7 diadems of Vicky:

Jean Ferdinand Joubert de la Ferte came to England from Paris in 1840. He worked for de la Rue until 1866 and
dominated the whole process of reproducing postage stamps by typography. His influence extended long beyond
the reign of Queen Victoria, and the tradition of engraving en epargne which he established has so far been
unchallenged.

I have a United Nations one that has a signature of a dignitary. Of course I want to post it but I can't find it. Figures.

I'm dusting off this old thread to see if anyone is interested in seeing or posting further philatelic souvenir cards. There are quite a number of interesting ones out there, even though the BEP is no longer actively issuing them.

Here are a few from my collection. I collect engraved cards almost exclusively (mostly from BEP and bank note companies), but there are hundreds of private issue cards that also have some eye appeal.
