 The day after the newly renovated Statue of Liberty was unveiled, this stamp was issued in New York. France, who presented the statue to the U.S., issued a similar stamp in Paris.  This was a joint issue between the former us and israel. The one on the left is the israel stamp and the one on the right is the former us forever stamp. |
