On May 22, 1991, Russia and the United States issued a joint issue stamp on the American born William Saroyan who was a writer. He won the Pulitzer prize for the play For the Time of Your Life, but would not accept it. Russia Scott 6002, United States Scott 2538.  |

On March 24, 1993, Monaco and the United States issued a joint issue stamp on Grace Kelly, an American film actress, who was married to a Prince of Monaco. Monaco Scott 1851, and the United States Scott 2749.  |

On September 29 1995, Palau and the United States issued a joint issue stamp on the anniversary of Palau's independence. Palau Scott 378 and United States Scott 2999.  |

On April 16, 1998, Mexico and the United States issued a joint issue stamp on the celebration of Mexican pride. It is actually celebrated more in the southwestern United States then in Mexico. Mexico Scott 2066, and the United Stats issued two stamps due to a rate change, Scott 3203 for 32 cents and Scott 3309 for 33 cents.  |

On January 26, 2012, France and the United States issued a joint stamp to commemorate Edith Piaf and Miles Davis two musicians. Edith Piaf was born in Paris, France and Miles Davis was born in Alton, Illinois. France Scott 4257A and United States Scott 4693A.  |
