Czech Republic - Hungary Joint Issue Jan Jessenius June 22, 2016 Jan Jesenius (1566 – 1621) was a Slovak physician, politician and philosopher. He is well known for performing a public autopsy in Prague in 1600. The stamp shows his portrait and his lectures on the autopsy entitled Anatómiai Pragae published in 1601.  |

United States - Sweden Joint Issue Stamp Collecting January 23, 1986 Each country issued one booklet of four stamps to mark the international stamp exhibitions Ameripex86 and Stockholmia86. There is one common design illustrating a magnifying glass and stamps on an album page. Swedish engraver Lars Sjooblom engraved the US version of this design, while Thomas Hipschen of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing engraved the Swedish version.  |

Belgium - Spain Joint Issue King Charles V (King Carlos V) February 19, 2000 (Belgium) February 24, 2000 (Spain) Charles V (1500 – 1558) was ruler of both the Spanish Empire from 1516 and the Holy Roman Empire from 1519, as well as of the Habsburg Netherlands from 1506. The souvenir sheet reproduces a painting Charles V on horseback in Mühlberg by Italian painter Tiziano Vecelli (1548), with the background replaced by a vintage world map.   |
