Just found these blocks among some Great Britain stamps. The red example isn't pictured in a Scott catalog, but based on the blue one, I'm guessing they are Scott #287 and #288 respectively.

Can someone confirm if that is accurate and also current catalog values? (My WW catalogs are too old for the values to be of any use.)

I assume they are best left as blocks, particularly because of the nice readable cancels.

confirm : that is Scott's #287 CV $1.75 Each.
Scott's #288 CV $ 9.75 Each
I think you should leave them in block of four .
The cancels Look much better that way.

Absolutely, <always> leave blocks intact, if you can.

inverted Jennys excepted.

Just FYI, the latest Gibbons rates the 2/6 (SG 510) at £1 each used, and the 10/- (SG 511) at £7.50 each used.

I can't imagine breaking up a block of used high values, unless at the point of a very large gun.

How about a pair of bolt cutters on your little pinky?

The 10s block, is very attractive,
would look nice in my collection.
They are in excellent nick considering anything of that value
must have been on a parcel.
