On page five of this discussion, a question was asked about applying arrows. Most PC's have a program called "Paint" automatically installed (it's a Microsoft product). Search your PC for "paint" and then double left click on it if it shows. You can use an icon in the boxes on the far left of the screen that is a "\", which is 'line draw'. You can draw a line anywhere on the image to create the shaft of the arrow and then add two more angled lines to create the point. On this screen page you can also change the colour and thickness of the line. You can 'undo' anything you've created using the "Edit" function. Not as sophisticated as a real arrow, but it works and looks OK. |

Series was completed on June 30, 1966 with the national Coat of Arms, just in time for July 1st, Canada Day. Scott 429A Canada |

Quote: 2c 1967 Centennial, BC Totem Poles For those of us who like to snoop through common stamps looking for varieties, this is a good one. The eyes of the totem figures come in various states - there are "blinky" stamps, "winky" stamps, "zombie" stamps, etc., all varying according to how the eyes look. I'm pretty sure the Robin Harris book on the Centennials covers this in detail, but I'm on the road now, so I don't have it available to look at it. A quick search on the internet found this scan(not too great, unfortunately) showing a blinky totem. Ryan |

As far as I know, these "blinkies" are not constant, just under-inking - maybe someone can correct me on this? |

This is a fabulous thread! Thanks to everyone who has been posting -- I've decided when it gets to page 10, I'm going to steal all the images, print them on a color printer and sell it as a book that I researched and wrote. |

All kidding aside, I have to say that the images in here are certainly a great help to those interested in the hidden dates.
In fact, the images are more clear than a lot of books I have seen <G>

You might need to help me here as I don't have a very good copy. Is this a HD? It looks like 196x |
