It's also interesting that Kate is pictured first (left stamp) compared to most of the examples being issued by other countries.

For those wanting all the GB Issues [just to be complete you know], you will need to make available almost £2,000 !

I just received the list from....yes, you guessed it, Royal Mail.

Miniature Sheet.....£3.12p
Presentation Pack...£3.65p
FDC's x 2...........£8.44p
Special Souvenir Cover....£7.49p
Commemorative Document...£9.99p
Coin Cover No.1.....£17.50p
Coin Cover No.2 [Silver]...£59.95p
Coin Cover No.3 [Gold].....£1,750.00p

Grand Total......£1,860.14p

Still cheaper than the amazing engagement ring Catherine is wearing ! And I am so happy the ring is shown on so many of the stamps !

For those interested in this topic here in the US, the US Postal Service is getting into the profit-making "act" of providing the GB souvenir sheet and presentation packet and even a colorized digital postmark.

The postmark is rather interesting, as they apply the new US "Forever" Wedding Roses stamp (required for US postage) and the postmark reaches into that stamp only. Although GB stamps are also affixed to the envelope, the cancel doesn't reach to them. Also, the postmark is unusual for the US in that it only includes a date and no city/state/zip code:

If anyone's interested, they are available at this link:

So I woke up this morning to find my wife already up and watching the royal wedding (I preferred to sleep). At the end, they all sang 'God Save the Queen' A shot of her majesty showed her not singing, of course. But it got me wondering, does she sing 'God Save...Me' in the shower?

Jamesw - the Queen in the shower was one image I did NOT want to be left with on this Royal Wedding day!
Just for anyone who hasn't seen it, the Bride was beautiful and all went well. My daughter got excited about a Prince and Princess getting married, as she has been well schooled by Disney in the matter of Princesses and weddings. She loved the Princess, but got very bored during the ceremony, and couldn't understand why they didn't dance around a ballroom a la Cinderella etc. Then she wanted to know who she would marry when she becomes a Princess. I may have some explaining to do there...

jamesw- Your comment about the queen singing cracked me up. I had the same thought this morning! I would find it very difficult not to sing along because it is a rather catchy tune.

In case anyone may have missed this, Isle of Man released a Royal Wedding souvenir sheet almost a month ago. The Royal Engagement issue was nicer than this one, in my humble opinion:

An interesting addition to any collection:
Now on ebay, item number 230620500557 on ebay .co.uk (use advanced search on ebay to find)
(Perhaps a stamp could be made of this?)

Princess Beatrice Royal Wedding Hat by Philip Treacy
IN AID OF UNICEF & CHILDREN IN CRISIS

8 days to go, now at GBP 7,500.00 (approximately $12,000.00) with 25 bids.

Searching on ebay for 'beatrice hat' yields some nice fridge magnets with pictures of the Princesses and some paper hats made after the Princess's hat's design.
