Austrian SOS Kinderdorf labels were sold to raise funds for this charitable international organization which focuses on abandoned, destitute and orphaned children requiring family-based child care.

lithograving, thanks for sharing. I didn't know if they were still going. I believe they started in 1949. This is their 10 anniversary seals.

Russ, I've never seen the ones you're showing.
I have a couple more blocks from the sixties. Just noticed yours have no value on them whereas my earlier ones were valued 1 Schilling and the ones above 2 Schilling.
What is that small vertical writing on the lower left?

Hello all,
Russ is right. SOS Kinderdorf was founded in 1949 in Austria and is still going strong.
They have centers for children in many countries where children are the most unfortunate part of the population. As I donate regularly since 1959, they sent me Easter Wishes a fortnight ago. I had to cut a bit to fit into the scan below.
