I bow to the knowledge from the lad from Gulgong. Surely nothing in Victoria can be regarded as remote? the State is too piddly.

Compact, Rodney, compact ...
Anyway, anywhere beyond the end of the tramlines is uncivilised. |

Sorry Fred, no 428 Torino. The 70 Ranchero is a factory GT w/ 351c and I own a 70 Torino wagon to boot. Here's a picture of my Super Comp Nissan Sentra ... I hope you enjoy :) |

Then there's hope for me yet, Rod. I'll have to dig out my peaked cap, ticket punch and money bag and apply for a position. (And before you ask, no: I don't have a photo of myself in my glory days. But this photo was taken at a Depot reunion a few years ago, with a colleague modelling the Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramways fashion in conductor attire circa 1970, and your humble servant sitting half-concealed down the back on a W Class tram) |

I wish I understood Aussie humor ...
Rod, that floating mountain in my picture is Mt Hood ... The tallest mountain in the state of Oregon at 11,240'
It's been about 7 months since I last saw it. The unceasing rain has the mountain hopelessly obscured in cloud cover. |

Love that tram pic, Tony. What a diverse mob we are. Racing Cars,.... A Revhead to a Stamp Collector? that's bizarre. Including that Ginormous magnifying glass Rileysan, you could inspect the nosehairs of a flea with that fella! That's the biggest I have ever seen. |

Ummmmm.... not at all bizarre. Some of us "revheads" are somewhat civilized Rileysan, I like wagons as well, 64 F-85. |

Fred ... Outstanding! I don't see too many Olds wagons around anymore. Is that a factory console and 4sp I spy? Your project looks to be further along than mine. Rod ... magnifying lamps are nifty tools and allow for fast, well lit inspections of my stamps. I paid ~$50 (including shipping) for it off ebay. Much of the time it acts only as a table lamp for me. As for being a revhead AND a philatelist? It's all about balance. I crave quiet time at the end of the day. I think philately helps keep me sane :) Brian |
