That building once housed a hobby shop. It is empty now, still owned by the railroad. We were wondering what they would sell it for... Last year I drove the Javelin out there a few times... a strange car to go railfanning in!

Nells250, thanks for adding "railfanning" to my vocabulary. By the way, I once owned a 69 AMC Javelin and enjoyed riding it until it rusted out.

10 points for fredcdobbs,
a very environmentally friendly low water use garden,
pebbles and cacti, that's what we need in
my location.

here is the view I have from my den. I live on top of a relatively low mountain for Pennsylvania. We refer to them as the "rolling hills". I love it here although it is a little secluded here sometimes.

I live on the outskirts of Bristol, the hills in the background in this pic overlook the city of Bath. There's a hot air baloon from the Bristol Balloon Fiesta

Haven't seen any pics from the Netherlands yet.
Nothing recent (it is summer after all), but here are some pics from last winter here in Eindhoven. Not the most beautiful city in the world, and that's an understatement.

Thank you. I call it my "fortress of solitude" and if my wife had her way I probably would have my stamps out in the barn!
as a side note
The crickets and peepers are just deafening this evening! Must be a storm coming.
