I just purchased an old album with a number of scarce stamps. I just started to go through it and came across several of these, from the island of Heligoland in the North sea. The 1st one is supposed to be from the 1867-68 series and is #3 the 2nd is 1874 series and is #12. I am trying to determine if these are originals or reprints. If they are reprints I'm would like to know when they were made and there value if any. Thanks for any information.

You may also take advantage of the "search" option here at SCF
which will give you information on your topic
use the text string "heligoland"

eg

Both are Forgeries and NOT Reprints. The reprints have more detail in the hair. That is without even looking at the back. Which proves it as well.
