The Punakha Dzong, also known as Pungtang Dechen Photrang Dzong (meaning "the palace of great happiness or bliss", was constructed by Ngawang Namgyal, 1st Zhabdrung Rinpoche, in 1637–38. It is the second oldest and second largest dzong in Bhutan and one of its most majestic structures. The dzong houses the sacred relics of the southern Drukpa Lineage of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism, including the Rangjung Kasarpani and the sacred remains of Ngawang Namgyal and the tertön Pema Lingpa

This souvenir sheet was issued by Bhutan on 20th September. 2009.

Wangdue ZAM (bridge) Span of 180 feet long constructed with timber without using single piece of iron was constructed in eighteenth Century , was maintained for public use till damaged by flood in 1968.
Bhutan issued this souvenir sheet in 1994 SC 1103, showing the Tower Bridge, London and the Wangdue Zam. Today there is a motorable bridge built in place of the old one.

Hong Kong souvenir sheet issued to commemorate opening of the Lautau Link.

The Lantau Link is a roadway linking Hong Kong International Airport to the urban areas in Hong Kong. It was officially opened on 27 April 1997, and it opened to traffic on 22 May the same year.

In the Garden of Perfect Clarity

The Garden of Perfect Clarity in Beijing was a summer residence of China emperor Chien-lung (1711-1799).
The garden has around 30 bridges. Among them the Jade Belt Bridge is the most well-known.
It was built between 1751 to 1764. It is also known as the Camel Back Bridge due to its steep arch.
The Seventeen Arch Bridge is the largest one, with a length of 150 meters and a width of 8 meters.
There are 544 lions on the columns of the white marble parapets.

Arlington Green Covered Bridge



The Arlington Green Covered Bridge is a covered bridge located in Arlington, Vermont.
The bridge crosses Batten Kill and was built in 1852.

The Aqueduct of Xalpa, better known as the Arcos del Sitio ("arches of the siege"), is a monumental aqueduct built during the 18th and 19th centuries to carry water from the Oro River to Tepozotlán, Mexico. The aqueduct reaches 61 meters in height (the highest aqueduct in Latin America), with four levels of arches, and a total length of 41,900 meters. Here is an image of a stamp depicting the Arcos del Sitio aqueduct, designed by J. Fleischman, printed by photogravure, and issued by Mexico on July 1, 1974 to commemorate National Engineers' Day, Scott No. 1063, plus a photo of a section of the aqueduct, now a tourist attraction.

Göltzschtalbrucke (Göltzsch Viaduct) is a railway bridge in Germany. It is the largest brick-built bridge in the world, and for a time it was the tallest railway bridge in the world. It was built between 1846 and 1851 as part of the railway between Saxony and Bavaria. The bridge is 574 meters long and 78 meters high, and has 98 vaults divided over four levels.

The Tjörn Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge which together with two smaller bridges connects Stenungsund on mainland Sweden with the island Tjörn on the western coast of the country. The length is 664 m, the span width is 366 m, and the height above the water is 45 m.
