The old fortress/castle of Bauska lies on a rocky spit of land at the confluence of the Musa into the Nemunelis. The older stamp (1995, part of the Via Baltica set) shows a bridge, the younger stamp doesn't (2009). The castle has been renovated recently but I don't know if the bridge is still there or if the picture in the older stamp is from long ago because the castle keep has no roof in the newer stamp.

The bridge across Musa river in Bauska was built in 1958 under the Soviet rule in Latvia. The previous bridge on the same place was exploded in 1944 by the retreating Wehrmacht.

The Via Baltica project was early 1990s idea and was not realized.

The bridge is in place now. You can drive over it in virtual 3D watching the castle, the bridge and the other surroundings here:

The bridge of Kralova near Senec dates from the beginning of the past century. It was constructed on a more or less private estate across the small river Cierna voda. Today one can take a cycling tour which includes the bridge. The decorative elements are featured in the stamp.

The newest bridge issued by Switzerland last week is just a plank across a crevice; on one side is a footpath, on the other a road. The plank represents support for isolated mountain villages and regions by the organization called 'Swiss Mountain Aid'.

The multiple arches of the Pont du Gard in Roman Gaul (modern-day southern France). The upper tier encloses an aqueduct that carried water to Nimes in Roman times; its lower tier was expanded in the 1740s to carry a wide road across the river.
