To the opening of the Crimean bridge: in Moscow there is its own Crimean bridge. It is named so because in this place the hordes of the Crimean Tatars were forwarded through the fords on the Moskva River.These fords portrayed the artist Savrasov.



In 1873 a steel bridge was built on this site.



And in 1938 during the general reconstruction of Moscow a suspension bridge was built,




which became a decoration of the city.

This classic Soviet flying boat stamp of 1937 depicts the second (steel truss) Crimean bridge in Moscow. The rides of the famous Gorky Park can be seen to the right.
