69 Years ago today:

Found this, also:

History in ev'ry century records an act that lives forevermore.
We'll recall, as into line we fall, the thing that happened on Hawaii's shore.

Let's REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR
As we go to meet the foe.
Let's REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR
As we did the Alamo.
We will always remember how they died
for Liberty.
Let's REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR
And go on to victory.

WT1: we were thinking alike.

I posted a comment about Pearl Harbor in the Family Topics forum, but you did one better and posted art!

In a recent conversation with my 80 year old father he said that there are 3 dates he always remembers
Dec 7, 1941 Pearl harbor
April 12, 1945 The day FDR died
Nov 22, 1963 JFK assassination
Now if mom could get him to remember their anniversary....

My grandfather passed away some years ago (b. 1890's) but he always remembered April 14-15, 1912: The Titanic Disaster. He was a Navy veteran and it always hit a soft spot with him.

A day that will live in infamy. I have always wanted to visit the Arizona memorial.

I had the opportunity in 2003 to visit Pearl Harbor and Punch Bowl. I will not forget the feeling felt deep inside.

I was just looking at for those WWII issues today in my duplicates to trade with another collector whom needs them. I found years 1941, 1942, & 1943.

Hi to all

I am an Australian, and I visited the Arizona Memorial. When they take you out to it, they time the boat ride to the amount of minutes that it took the Arizona to sink. It was a very spiritual experience and the silence was eerie.
Regard

It's not the same thing. But when I have visited the Vietnam Memorial and others in Washington, D.C., It fills me with a deep sadness.

Two cards from a card-with-a-stub booklet about Pearl Harbor.

From the imprint, these were printed post-1983.
