Here are the King George VI 1c definitive stamps of Singapore. The perf 14 stamp (S.G. #1) was issued on September 1, 1948, and the perf 17.5 x 18 stamp (S.G. #16) was issued on May 21, 1952.  |

On August 9, 1985 Singapore issued a set of four stamps commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Housing and Development Board. The high value, 75c stamp (S.G. #510) features construction workers and was issued in black and gray tones.  |

From 1942-4, under German occupation, a pictorial set of 18 stamps was issued for Greece. The 100 drachma stamp (Sc #444) from the set was printed in black, and it depicts the Pantokratoros Monastery, founded in 1363. From Wikipedia, "Pantokratoros Monastery is an Eastern Orthodox monastery at the monastic state of Mount Athos in Greece. It stands on the north-eastern side of the Athos peninsula, and is dedicated to the Transfiguration of Our Lord."  |

On June 6, 1988 Faroe Islands issued a second set of four, Slania engraved stamps showing Faroese authors. The high value 6.50 kr stamp (Facit #173) depicts Hans Jacob Jacobsen (1901-1987) who used the pen name Hedin Bru.  |
