But this one with SON Deutsch-Krawarn I could not resist.

The DEUTSCH-KRAWARN (Silesia) cancel is very nice. The Peter Feuser Nachverwendete Altdeutschland-Stempel catalog gives its use during the Prussian period a premium of 80.- DM. (first column on pic below).

I also like to look on the internet at the population of a village at the time of the postmark.

I believe for Deutsch Krawarn a couple of thousand people. Often a good indicator if it is easy or more difficult to find.

Bechuanaland meant the country of the Tswana and for administrative purposes was divided into two political entities. The northern part was administered as the Bechuanaland Protectorate and the southern part was administered as the crown colony of British Bechuanaland. British Bechuanaland was incorporated into the Cape Colony in 1895 and now forms part of South Africa.

The protectorate was administered from Mafeking, creating an unusual situation, the capital of the territory being located outside of the territory.

Here is an apartheid era cancellation of Durban, South Africa. Date is March 21, 1981. Durban is a large, coastal city (pop. 3.44 million) in eastern South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal province.

This was a time great unrest. The wikiwand.com website lists 1981 bombings in Durban on these dates: February 2, May 25, May 27, June 26, July 26 and September 12.
