And finally (no doubt to everyone's immense relief)
Customs and Associated Labels

This is a label of the American Office in the main Post Office in Ljubljana. These opened mail going between Yugoslavia and USA in either direction. They are aften described as Censors' Offices, but they were mainly concerned with people trying to send paper money in or out,in contravention of the currency regulations.

That's it; but it leaves 4 large areas completely untouched:
1) Registration Labels
2) Air Mail Etiquettes
3) Hand Stamped Etiquettes
4) The individual numerical Post Office identification labels used on the cards associated with packages.

I am competent to illustrate the first three areas if anyone is interested, but have never dared dip even my toe end in no. 4. If anyone collects them I would welcome seeing their conclusions.

A very nice Christmas-y type of address label from Versailles, France, 2014. Silver and red trees on a blue background.

Nice ebay colours worked into the end of the name at top.

Address hidden electronically by me.

While rummaging through my unidentified material drawer, I discovered these: two versions of the stylized springbok airmail etiquette from South Africa. Note the difference in the order of the wording.
