I deal on ebay daily with my fishing tackle so definatly know the game but am wondeing would a more unique rare stamp be better off at auction house or on the bay?. I'm refering to my $2 kluane with doubling -- catalog has it as only 2 known and as previous discussion stated it seems more minor yet valued at $1250. Would there be a better shot at bidding battle through an auction house such as maresch than posting on ebay. I guess one advantage is I can set my price on the bay and if it sells it sells but my hopes would be since this is only the 3rd known it may possibly skyrocket at an inhouse auction. Having never been to an attended stamp auction what are your opinions?
