I thought I was done looking at these types, but I found these last two. If someone could give me a cat number or near value I would appreciate. Thanks as always - Jeff

I think we're in the same boat...clearly revenues, but too late to be in Forbin, I believe (i.e., I think they are post-1915). Therefore, difficult to assign a catalogue number to, and even harder to value...

There always seem to be many Italian revenue lots on ebay, and this is the kind of thing that seems to populate them. That being said, without positive i.d., it always possible that one or another of them is gold. Unlikely, but possible.

Well, the 6L is in very nice condition, good centering and an unobtrusive cancel, so I'd rate it as nice to have. (But then I like revenues...I guess not everyone does...)

By the way Rod, spent some of time today looking for your India stuff, no luck yet. (If I find one can I get out of the corner?) Covers only or postmarks on the stamps?

No hurry Jeff,
just fishing if anyone has slogans
and special postmarks.
Most have a regal contrivance, or postal savings
or war and telegraph slogans.

Clear postmarks of India are very much a rarity
so seeing examples is very exciting.

Republic-era, post World War II. The general style lasted a very long time, I believe, and I don't have any specialized listings to be specific as to a decade for yours.

Can you make out any years in the cancels?
