You're most welcome.
I'm at a hotel without any catalogs etc available, but my gut feeling tell me your stamp is from the first issue - coarse printing. Particularly Kaiser Joseph's beard seems quite heavy. I just love those classic engravings, beautiful stamps

I agree with Leopoldstadt, and a coarse printing. The missing portion could be a plate flaw (there are many on this issue).

Here is a recent find, Zengg, which was in Croatia-Slavonia. It took me a while to locate the town - I originally thought it was Zenog.

Now Zengg is Senj, in Croatia.

Lipótváros (Leopoldstadt), a neighborhood in Budapest.

Well I don't find Lipótváros cancel in the G.S. Ryan book, it was probably with Buda cancel anyway it will be Lipótváros not Leopoldstadt . I don't know why they call it a neighborhood , it's in the center of Budapest and it's where is the parliament. ( Budapest was formed mainly of 2 cities Buda and Pesth ( Pest )

So the cancel as to be Leopoldstadt in Austria, ( that's make it less interesting .... )

BeeSee at first I tough your stamps was a Type II with a Type I frame, then I save it and enlarge it and discover the break in the line , so it's a Type II frame..... a Type II with Type I is list $ 38, so bad

SO your stamps is 1859 , the stamp have less value than a type I 1858 , but the cancel will have 50% more valueif complete

so bad those small break...

Hi stampcrow. Ocsod ( both o's with an umlaut ) is a village in Jasz-Nagykun-Szolnok County in the Northern Great Plain region of south-east Hungary.
