Much of my collection is on stock pages, in standard 11 1/2" x 10 1/2" 3 ring binders. Most of my 3 ring binders are fairly nice quality, 1 1/2" and a few 1" thick. Does anyone know of a source for affordable slip cases for standard 3 ring binders? I've searched the web to no avail.
Thanks!

Palaniappan, that is what I have done, using stock sheets and 3 ring binders. I have several binders. I am just looking for a source for slip cases that will fit standard 3 ring binders.

It appears I will have to stuff two 1" binders into the 2" slip case and two 1.5" binders into the 3" slip case - hopefully my plan will work.... I am buying one of each as test.

Well, the binders fit in the Bindertek slipcases, which are very nice, and shipping was lightening fast. Ordered yesterday, UPS delivered this evening. I can fit the binders according to my plan, however the slipcases do not have notches, so removing my standard binders is not as easy. It looks like all the Bindertek binders have a finger hole to make removal from a slip case easy, so their slipcases are not notched.

You can always make your own notches at the bottom of the dustcase -- nobody will notice so it doesn't have to look professional.

I've switched a part of my collection to zipperbinders with pretty good results. I wait until there is a clearance/overstock sale at the major office supply retailers, then use their $5/$10 off coupons. I've got about 40+ over the years for which I paid about $1-$3 each. Back when I was actively looking for them, I would see them on clearance about 2-3 times a year at various stores.

They come in assorted colors, just like stockbooks, so you can color code your collection. In additional to the normal letter-size stocksheets, I can fit the taller Harris pages in them, and even the Scott International pages in the larger zipperbinders.

Even if you can't get them on clearance, you might find them more cost effective if you need large quantities. The only "drawback" that I can see is that they are "softshell" and look "academic". But since I'm the only one looking at them, it doesn't matter to me.

Frankly, I am surprised you guys use 3 ring binders
With the format of our vario sheets
means only the centre ring holds the page in its
proper position, the other outer holes are
elongated.

I would think 4 ring to be a minimium usage
