My Scott catalog does not do foreign plate block. Does anyone know if these plate blocks are in groups of 4, and would you have a catalog number and near value. Thanks so much. - Jeff

Can't help much with values, as I'm referring to an old 2002 Scott Specialized Catalog, but I think the plate block you have scanned is a Philippines (Issued under U.S. Administration) Scott #424 issued 03/29/1937 with the type (b) "COMMONWEALTH" overprint. The 2002 values for singles were $3 (MNH) and $1.50 (Used). No block or plate block values are given.

Jeff,

Agree with WT1 that it is Scott 424 (stamp of 1935 with the "b" overprint) The 2011 values for unused singles are $12 for OG and $20 for NH. Used singles are $2.50. Sorry I can't help on the plate block size.

Steve

so NH is at least $80.00, but I think most plate blocks are not simply just the single stamp value.
