This is an advertising postcard that came in the mail today. Previously I would have discarded this with no second thought other than 'cute mascot'. Now I recognize a possible cinderella and collectible item! Someone save me from myself!

This is the racoon mascot, called Mr. Porter, of a new (2006?) Canadian Airline, Porter Air.

From their website (press release):

Quote:
Graphic and modern, the Mr. Porter character is introduced in the initial set of five advertisements that form the pre-launch teaser campaign. Winkreative sought to furnish Porter Airlines with a mascot that represented Canada while avoiding the ubiquitous maple leaf. A raccoon was partly chosen for its visual appeal and its reputation as a smart and cheeky creature

Besides all the topical themes present on the card, is this really a collectible cinderella? Should I go root through the garbage bin next to the mail-boxes in the lobby? Anybody want one?

Web-site advert. Just in time for Easter. A wascally wacoon wabbit. I like this little guy.

I do think it is worth keeping. I don't think you want to acquire any more. If they stay in the trash, your mint example just becomes that more precious.
