Another motorcycle stamp that has been out for a while... but I hadn't looked close before to notice that it is in no way a 1936 Norton!! Not a Norton at all. A error stamp of some type.
Regards
Gavin

Not a stamp but a very nice postally used card for my collection of Italian motorcycle related postal items!
The Turkheimer motorcycles were made in Milan from 1902 to 1905.
I can't make out the date on the cancel from the picture of the other side but I will have an closer look when it arrives from Italy in the weeks time.

This is the 63rd make of Italian motorcycle I now have a postal item for... more than I ever thought I would get.

Regards
Gavin

1908 CCM pictured below was issued June 5, 2013 by CanadaPost, first in a series of Motorcycle stamps. "This issue featuring the 1908 Lightweight Motor Cycle and the 1914 Indian is the first in a series dedicated to Canadian motorcycle manufacturing and design."

Google " Canada Post - Collecting - Stamps" to see its mate. The website has images of stamps issued from June 1999 to present. No doubt there will be more next year.

Their was a motorcycle on one of the stamps in the Australian "Road Trip" set and they have just realised a second different set in the series and this is a special "peal and stick" sheet that combines both sets.

Not a common item.

Gavin

Here is an image of an airmail stamp celebrating motorcycling, combined engraved and lithography (Dai Nippon Printing Co., Japan), and issued by Nicaragua on December 12, 1963 as one of a set of 13 "sports" stamps, Scott No. C530. I'm reasonable certain that motorcycling is not yet an Olympic event.

Hi, greetings from a cold and wet Denmark. I hope someone can help me. I am trying to get together a set of stamps which depict Moto Guzzi motorcycles. I am doing quitecwell but one of them is so elusive that I cannot find any information or images of it, but I know it exists. The stamp is from the Netherlands. It is green and depicts a Moto Guzzi Galletto, which is type of a scooter. Has anyone come across this stamp or can you supply me with any information about it?

Kind regards
Steve
