Caprivi Strip, formerly known as Itenge, is a narrow protrusion of Namibia eastwards from the Kavango Region about 450 km, between Botswana to the south, and Angola and Zambia to the north. The stamp set portrays a map of and the life and landscape in the strip.

Set of four, one stamp shows Sanga Cattle (Bos primigenius taurus).
The Sanga of Namibia is one of the ecotypes of Sanga cattle. The Sanga cattle appeared to have originated about 1600 B.C. in Ethiopia and Somalia and migrated South through the African continent.

Northern Cameroon region (Lake Lagdo for example) is known for the ranching of Zebu cattle, characterized by a fatty hump on their shoulders, a large dewlap and sometimes drooping ears.
