Great stamp, Fifia. As close as the guy is to the dog, it almost looks like he was trying to catch it on the fly. Usually I try to let my animal get a little further away from her "duty" before I do my civic duty. But this stamp does show that what we all need though is more public service announcement stamps. Why dwell on art, history, patriotism, shared social values, etc., when we can have stamps telling us to clean up our animal's poo? Your stamp definitely wins the "Huh???" award.

I see people hereabouts walking their dog and carrying little pooper-scooper bags. They made it a law years ago here.

I always thought the people pooped upon (their land that is) should be happy for more fresh fertilizer really. Good for the roses and daisies and tomatoes.

Was that stamp (good design by the way) part of a series?

Ah, the joys of walking barefoot, the feel of the earth between the toes in the morning. Nothing like it!

I must save the pic of that stamp and send it to friends.

Great post Fifia!

Fifia,
The first time I saw your post I didn't notice the 'present', I thought the man was sniffing the dog's posterior! Turn-about is fair play!?! I say 'HUH!' either way....

Well, I was posting dog stamps this morning and before I did, I checked the thread so I do not post duplicates. ...
I found rod222's posting.....and I just copied it in the Huh thread.
He should get all the credit...I take the blame...

....talking about poop...When I was growing up after the war(second World War, please)....I remember horse apples. We had a bucket and a shuffle behind the gate at our hose and if a horse came by and 'appled' in the street one of the family members would run out and get 'it' for grandpa's garden. I collected a few in those years...
Good times, good memories...

Amazing what a stamp with poop can do!

Last year some woman started walking a large dog by our house. The result was my having to throw away a pair of slippers and almost sliding under my brothers truck... I think the sign I put out there scared her off... (by the way, we do have a law in our town that says you have to clean up after your dog... I guess she didn't feel she needed to follow that law...)

Hey Nells 250,

Really that stamp could be right out of the movie The Yellow Submarine by the Beatles (1967). Other then that the HUH factor fits well.

Good one CardinalBass,
Never thought of a stamp that bites back.
Now which is worse, a stamp paper cut or a stamp with teeth that bites?
