An interesting article about recent Pakistan stamps ... as suggested in the article it may be more than the inverted watermark that caused these stamps to be reprinted, but no one yet knows for sure:

It does sound odd as to why they would withdraw a stamp purely because it has an inverted watermark. Surely if all the stamps have an inverted watermark it would still serve its purpose.
