François-Gabriel D'Angeac (1708-1782) was an officer in the French colonial military service and the first French governor of Saint Pierre and Miquelon. Finland Tall Ship Race June 19, 1972 The stamp features Suomen Joutsen, built in 1902 and refitted to serve as a school ship for the Finnish Navy in 1930. From 1961 on she served as a stationary seamen's school for the Finnish Merchant Navy. In 1991 she became a museum ship moored next to Forum Marinum.  |
