Nice sheet Rod. These labels are so often found toned.
A beauty.

Here are a couple from South Africa, addressed to Robson Lowe Ltd. Picked them up last August with some other old world covers. Not pristine but the price was right. |

On the first Russian image, an the upper seal/label is written "175 years from the day when A.S. Pushkin was born". And the lower celebrates a 150 years from the same day. So, the upper one is from 1974, and lower from 1949. Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin is the most famous Russian poet ever, born in 1799. On the another Russian image the stamps represents some kind of Folks national Russian Olympics games... know as Spartakiad http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spartakiad |

This one is a little beat up but it was the first full sheet I have come across. 1947 Nassau - Suffolk Exhibition. |

That's a nice set of cinderellas from the 1947 Nassau-Suffolk Philatelic Alliance! I've never seen them before. The subject matter is certainly popular with collectors and non-collectors alike.
My only concern would be about the long term storage of those stamps on that old album page. Do you think it would ruin the stamps over time? Just wondering, as that album page was produced long before acid-free papers were the norm.

It is on top of a glassine paper. Biggest problem with the sheet was the separation where it was folded. It is very large so storage was most likely a issue. |
