Thank you 1775mac.

Unusual for Weixler to sign his piece with his name,
I guess if this was originally a poster, then he would
want to broadcast his name in readable format.

More Weixler,
the ruination of these lovely stamps indicate
possibly, poor perforation format, one must always
bend at the perforations at least twice before separation,
paper will always fail at its weakest point

It's a pity that these lovely poster stamps are damaged; but they're not German, but Austro-hungarian. "K.K. Österr. Staats Bahnen" stands for "Imperial and Royal Austrian National Railways". The stamps were advertising posters of this company on the neighbouring kingdom of Bavaria, not yet fully incorporated to Germany.

Here are a few I have that are scanned and ready to share here on SCF. Maybe I have shown one or two before, so my apologies for the repeats, if any.

Some LLoyds Bank Empire Exhibition Labels:

LB1 has been so generous with sharing his new finds that I thought he may like a break and enjoy some more!

And to wrap it up from me, this Van Gogh label, I call it that because of its missing ear!

Enjoy your day,

That is extremely considerate of you Skilo.
Thanks.

So I sat back and enjoyed, just like you did mine. It was lovely...and I had a bowl of nice hot soup to go with it.

The philatelic exhibition labels are some of my favorite cinderellas. The 1936 TIPEX set is my latest acquisition.

I not long ago acquired a large album of UK exhibition related material, all apparently assembled by a Mr P. L. Jackson of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (I would like to know something about him if anyone knows anything?). The album covers almost every UK philatelic event from the early 70s through to the 90s, with some earlier material and including provincial events as well as the major London shows. Mr Jackson was obviously involved with the running of events as many of the album pages include examples of very small print run items of presentation forms. Many of the pages bear labels on the reverse indicating that the pages were themselves exhibited on several occasions. I have imaged just two pages for here and now. The first is the page for the British Philatelic Exhibition of 1975, including the green version of the miniature sheet of which only 632 copies were apparently printed for presentation to stewards:

The second page is for the Philatelic Congress of 1989 held at Brighton and shows the Cinderella Stamp Club sheets of 12 labels issued for that event, reproducing the Congress labels for 1932, in red and black versions (the blue sheet is present too, on the reverse of the page):

Perhaps, when I get the time, it would be worth scanning all of the pages for a new topic. Needless to say, I was very glad to obtain this comprehensive collection. Chris Wren

Thanks Mac. Once you get the hang of it, AlbumEasy is fairly simple to use.

Great pages tomiseksj.......I love those issues and will have to work on some nice pages for mine too.

crwhb.......A great find and lovely items. I would love to see more when you can. The BPE sheets are a great series of sheets.
I have only ever found British Exhibition material in small quantities and it's taken me ages to put together a decent collection. So very jealous of your hoard !

Show some more please !
