Carabinieri Patrol in the Storm (1973) is a bronze statue by Antonio Berti in Villa Carlo Alberto al Quirinale. It depicts two Police on foot, wrapped in heavy coat and with the body leaning forward to overcome the weather.

Statue of St. Martin in Bratislava
July 22, 1992
The great equestrian Baroque statue by Georg Rafael Donner in 1744 depicts St Martin sharing his cloak with a beggar. The statue is located in St Martin's Cathedral in the 18th-century old town of Bratislava.

Set of four, one stamp depicts the statue Angel with the cartouche by Gian Lorenzo Bernini (1598 - 1680). It is one of the ten life-size marble statues of Angels on Ponte Sant'Angelo in Rome.

Statue of Bertel Thorvaldsen
November 19, 1975
Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770 - 1844) was a Danish/Icelandic sculptor of international fame, who spent most of his life in Italy. He was an outstanding representative of the Neoclassical period in sculpture.
This life-sized bronze statue, located in Hljómskálagarđur Park in Reykjavik, depicts the Danish artist with a carytid-like figure on his left side. The statue is a replica of a marble self-portrait carved by Thorvaldsen himself.

Death Bicentenary of Oliver Goldsmith

Oliver Goldsmith (1728 – 1774) was an Irish novelist, playwright and poet, who is best known for his novel The Vicar of Wakefield (1766), poem The Deserted Village (1770), and the play She Stoops to Conquer (1771).
The stamp depicts a life-size bronze statue of Oliver Goldsmith outside Trinity College, Dublin. The statue is the work of John Henry Foley in 1864.

The stamp depicts a life-size bronze statue of General Tadeusz Kosciuszko (1746 - 1817) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The statue by Marian Konieczny commemorates the Polish patriot and hero of the American Revolution.

Josef Václav Myslbek (1848 – 1922) was a Czech sculptor recognized as the founder of the modern Czech sculpting style. The stamp shows his life-size bronze statue Hudba (1907) which portrays a female playing a musical instrument.

Casimer Pulaski Monument
October 1, 1979
General Casimir Pulaski (1745 - 1779) joined American Revolution and became known as the "Father of the American Cavalry." He was mortally wounded during the Battle of Savannah on October 9, 1779.
The bronze statue of General Pulaski featured in the stamp s located in Buffalo, New York. It is the work of Kazimierz Danilewicz.

Odysseus of Antikythera is a life-size marble statue of Odysseus found in the Roman-era Antikythera wreck (ca. 100 BC). It is severely corroded by seawater.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a fountain statue of Poseidon, Greek god of the sea, earthquakes and horses, designed by and combined engraved by Martin Mörck (1955- ) and lithography after a photograph by J. Karlsson, and issued by Sweden on March 25, 1993, Scott No. 1994, Facit No. 1790, plus an image of a photograph of the 6.7 meter (22') bronze statue created in 1925-1931 by Swedish sculptor Carl Milles (1875-1955), and which is located in Götaplatsen in Göteborg.

Here is an image of a stamp designed after a bronze statue of "Liberty" created by Lithuanian sculptor Juozas Zikaras (1881-1944), printed by photogravure, and issued by Lithuania on February 16, 1991 to commemorate the Act of 16 Vasario (February) 1918 declaring the independence of Lithuania, Scott No. 388, plus a photo of the restored statue in Vilnius. Note: This statue, inaugurated in 1928, is the symbol of Lithuanian Statehood; it was destroyed during the Stalinist regime, but was restored in 1989.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting the bas-relief sculpture created by Italian sculptor Luigi Terruggi (1934- ) for the Trobada Monument in Andorra la Vella commemorating the 700th anniversary of the signing of The Pariatge, the founding document of Andorra, designed and engraved by French artist Claude Haley (1923-1988), and issued by Andorra (French Administration) on September 29, 1979, Scott No. 273, plus a photo of the original work of art on the 1978 monument.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting Jamaica's National Stadium and its statue of Arthur Stanley Wint OD MBE (1920-1992), the first Jamaican Olympic gold medalist, winning the 400 meters race at the 1948 Summer Olympic Games, designed by Victor Whiteley, printed by photogravure, and issued by Jamaica on May 4, 1964, Scott No. 226, plus a photo of the statue.
