If someone were to open a thread about U.S.A. Fancy Cancels, or Canada Fancy Cancels / Cork Cancels, there would be a plethora of posted examples from several collections. There are several good threads already that I have seen and to alimited extent participated in. They are excellent.
Now, take a look at these scans of a page of early Brazil in my collection. Nothing special in the way of stamps but ....

When you look at the stamps you discover that only about 5 show a circular date stamp. All the rest that have any discernable cancel have what would be called a cork cancel if it appeared on a Canadian stamp of the same period. None are particularily "Fancy" in the sense of having a picture or symbol of some sort but the existence and prevalence of these in such a small sample implies that more interesting ones do exist. Now, here is my question.
Are there identifiable fancy cancels fram Brazil in the same sense as there are from North America? Does anyone have examples to show us? Are there other countries that have something similar?
I think all the threads that I have seen are pretty much limited to either U.S. or Canadian stamps.
