Tonight, Futbol Club Barcelona has just won 2010-2011 UEFA's Supercoup, beating Porto 2 to 0 in Monaco. To celebrate this I'm showing a card with the posters of 25th, 50th, 75th and 100tn aniversaries of the club. The posmark shows 1899 and 1999 (current) club's arms. Specially dedicated to James and to any other FC Barcelona supporter that might see this post. Visca el Barça! |

{raises hand} American here who is a huge football fan. I support Arsenal, so I may just have to hate you for supporting the club that stole Theirry Henry. As for the United States, in addition to the 1994 stamps posted by @Tomislav (released as a souvenir sheet and as singles), football has shown up as the topic of U.S. stamps three times -- once specifically relating to the prevalent youth football programs in the United States, as mentioned by @nethryk: |

Well, Arsenal did a good bussiness with a player that, in my view, wasn't that good. His career in FCB was somewhat discreet. He's not too much remembered. You should be more angry for us to recover Cesc Fàbregas. |
