Tonight, Futbol Club Barcelona has just won 2010-2011 UEFA's Supercoup, beating Porto 2 to 0 in Monaco.
To celebrate this I'm showing a card with the posters of 25th, 50th, 75th and 100tn aniversaries of the club. The posmark shows 1899 and 1999 (current) club's arms.

Keeping with the Barcelona theme ...

{raises hand} American here who is a huge football fan. I support Arsenal, so I may just have to hate you for supporting the club that stole Theirry Henry.

As for the United States, in addition to the 1994 stamps posted by @Tomislav (released as a souvenir sheet and as singles), football has shown up as the topic of U.S. stamps three times -- once specifically relating to the prevalent youth football programs in the United States, as mentioned by @nethryk:
