My order for 100 5S vario pages from MIT_63 on the 24th was delivered today. From the tracking info, it got here on Saturday, overnight from NJ. Fast service, both by MIT_63, and by the USPS. |

My order from Saturday was shipped Monday and got here today. And these Vario Plus sheets are fantastic. Exactly what I needed |

Based upon the recommendations on this thread, I purchased a full complement of Vario Plus pages today from Mit_63 on ebay. I was able to get two Vario G binders for the price of one. I have been looking to migrate parts of my collection to a new album system so I'm hoping this works. I will report back upon receipt of my order. |

I recommend looking a the "Grande" version of Vario. Larger pages with more room for stamps. I find them more pleasing to work with than regular/plus Vario. |

I have a 5 volume set of "F" binders and one of the "G" (Grande). I way prefer the "F"'s because I found the "G"'s to be way too big. And they require their own over-sized pages. I would recommend buying only one "G" binder before taking the plunge. Glad I did!

Londonbus1: Try clicking on the link contained in the second post on the first page of this thread. That's how I got to Mit_63's ebay page. Johan |

Just received my order from Bernie today (ordered on Saturday night; received on Tuesday). Everything was in order and packed expertly. I definitely will be using him again.
The Vario Plus pages look like they will do nicely. The Lighthouse binders are also well-made. |

As a follow-up to yesterday's post, I got an email from ebay last night informing me that Mit_63 (Bernie) refunded $26 of unused postage and handling charges to my account. Definitely a nice touch and great customer service. Needless to say, I recommend him highly. |

Neeskens13,
Yes, they did that for me too. A great company to deal with. Your earlier post suggests that you bought an "F" binder (Vario Plus pages). Good choice but you may want to try one "G" for comparative purposes. Personally, I like the "F"'s better.

I love the Lighthouse Vario pages, though I order them from a dealer on Amazon rather than thru ebay. Prices about the same, and as I have a separate Amazon store credit card I can keep track of purchases easier. The Vario binders and slipcases though, while gorgeous and well constructed, are expensive from just about any source you look at. Currently using regular 3-ring binders from Staples/Office Max, considering have some custom-made binders made with graphics to indicate which nation's stamps are in the binder. They would still be cheaper than the Lighthouse binder/slipcases. |

I have a shelf full of Lighthouse binders and slipcases, mostly G's, a few F's. They weren't cheap, but I think they are a good value for the money. Buying them 5 at a time from Bernie I think, with shipping, they came to about $25 each for the large ("G") size. I had been using standard office binders (and still do for some countries), and they started to warp and bend in a short amount of time, and they can be hard to make stand up on shelves. I figure the Lighthouse binders should last me at least a couple decades, and hopefully the rest of my life (I'm 44 now). With the slipcases they stand up nicely on their own and they look beautiful. On top of that, should me or my heirs wish to sell my collection, they make a good first impression on a prospective buyer. |
