Care to advise the source to ID fakes ?

Yes, the Icons for Italy are generally a knot of rope, and / or the Star (Seen as Italy's tiara)

Fiume stamps seem an interesting area, especially with all the forgeries. On my todo list is moving them from pages like this - to something more organized & attractive. A couple inverted overprints here too (top row, 6 and 40), as part of that will try to figure out if they are legit.

Reading this post about Fiume brought back memories of my first post on SCF a little over 2 years ago. It happened to be over a Fiume letter that I bought. the 24 April 1921 series on cover, discovers it to be a First Day. The Mebus mentioned in the adres was a well known stamp dealer of that time in the Netherlands. On the backside are postmarks from Trieste and I think Milano railroad.
