Nice. I've got that Breslau set as well, one of them with a Breslau cancel. Often wondered how people there would have reacted if they'd known their city would be Polish only a few years after the issue of that set. |

Some of those are hard to find in MNH. Almost harder than postally used. ;o) |

Tinus thanks for that tidbit of info. Wasn't aware it is now Polish. And, thankyou Smaugee for your input. Am starting to really get into stamps which surprises me! |

My jaw just dropped ... I've been looking for that set of 4 trains in MNH for some time, now. Very nice set! |

Thanks Tinus. Stamps with history or s good story make them all the more valuable in my opinion. |

None of these 4 stamps appear to be regummed, Who Knew. The question is hinged vs never hinged. One of the original pictures sent of an unidentified stamp does appear to be regummed based on the dicolored perfs (gum soaked perfs are one of the easiest ways to identify a regummed stamp) |

They've all been hinged. There's clear discoloration from the hinge glue and gum disturbance where the hinge would be in the 6 Pf, 12 Pf, and 40 Pf. The 25 Pf does appear to have been regummed. |

That's a good eye Postmaster as I would have thought it was toning on the Gum that gave it that Brownish / Yellow tint. For Hinges I look for that squared type of mark. |

The 6, 12, and 25 appear to have a "squared" mark, imo. Quote: The 25 Pf does appear to have been regummed. I don't doubt your assessment, but am having trouble seeing it. Is there a color difference or something else you see? Curse my color-blindness! Brian |
